OUR STORY
Christ to the Rural World is the Outreach Ministry of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry. It is a ministry that preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ to people in the rural areas across the length and breadth of Ghana and beyond through the medium of crusades.
The ministry of Christ to the rural world also reaches out to the poor, needy, aged, blind, crippled etc in the ‘rural world’ with free food, free clothing and free medical services.
Christ to the rural world began in the 1980’s when Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry was a fellowship at the central cafeteria of the University of Ghana, Legon.
The mission of witnessing to souls in the rural world is in response to the Great Commission Jesus gave to the church according to Matthew 28:18-20
Since its inception, the ministry of Christ to the rural world has sent the gospel and humanitarian services to towns and villages in Ghana and beyond.
This ministry has been instrumental in strengthening and equiping the churches in the towns and villages by organizing training seminars and Camp Meetings for Pastors, Leaders, Church workers and interested individuals.
It is our missionary objective that the ministry of Christ to the rural world will continue to reach out to people in the remote areas of the world with the transforming word of God and provide them with basic humanitarian services that will enable people to live dignified lives and also prepare them for the second coming of Christ.
What We Beleive In
Christ to the Rural world exists to bring glory to God by spreading the gospel and making disciples, feeding the poor, clothing the naked, free health care for the sick and many others
The Mission of God
All things exist and are being worked according to the triune God’s passion, pleasure and plan (Ephesians 1:11), which is the demonstration of His own intrinsic glory. God creates, calls, rescues, redeems, saves, restores, restrains and grants all to the end that He might be praised.
WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
We believe in the business of God. We believe that the manual for God’s business is the Holy Bible. We believe that the Holy Bible is the practical manual for good living and perfect practices. Jesus said, in the Gospel of luke2:49; aching “…DIDIN’T YOU KNOW, I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHER’S BUSINESS?;
What is the business of God? Healing the sick, raising the dead; feeding the hungry; clothing the naked caring for the aged preaching good news to the poor and soothing the pain of the broken hearted.
This we understand to be the business of God; and CHRIST TO THE RURAL WORLD” is our serious business with God. We believe in the joy we deliver in reaching out to touch the sick and cloth the naked.
We believe in the happiness we deliver in bounding the wounded and soothe the broken –hearted. We believe in the trust reposed in us by God, that, in our small corner, we can still stand tall and be in business with God, to pair out HIS abundant grace unto the aged and the poor.
We believe that the responses of people to assist us in our project s, is an initiative sponsored by God through these numerous human channels. The more we receive, and the more we receive, the more we give out the more we of the sense of belonging, where like the Good Samaritan, we lift up….the downtrodden and breath into them a whole new world of hope and promise. The Holy Bible promises us that; God saves from trouble and more trouble wherever we give to the poor (Psalm 41:1)
